How Can We Help?
Normalizing Blood Pressure With CBD Oil
Cannabidiol has been scientifically proven to help the body in so many different ways. One extremely important benefit it may hold for some people is an ability to help normalise blood pressure. With so many people suffering from high blood pressure and the side effects of blood pressure medication, CBD may be an incredible alternative.
Data gathered from the Journal of the American Medical Association reveals that high blood pressure (hypertension) is one of the leading challenges of the world affecting one in every three adults in the United States (about 73 million people). It is also estimated to affect about 2 million American teens and children. These conditions may go under-diagnosed thus making hypertension a public health challenge.
High blood pressure simply refers to the expression of high tension in the arteries due to stress or the presence of an underlying medical condition such as kidney disease. The arteries are vessels responsible for carrying blood from the pumping heart to the tissues and organs of the body. The buildup of this high tension in the tissues and muscles can increase the risk of developing renal (kidney), cardiac (heart) and other disease conditions affecting the eyes and brain. When high blood pressure is left unattended to, it can lead to heart attack, stroke, and other life-threatening medical conditions.
The most common treatment measures for high blood pressure include but are usually not limited to the use of medications, lifestyle changes and natural remedies like CBD oils. CBD oil is known to elicit medicinal effect to normalise high blood pressure in the following ways;
1.Suppression of Cardiac Contractility
The interaction of CBD and the endocannabinoid system usually come in handy in the suppression of cardiac contractility in animal models through the secretion of anandamide and other endocannabinoids. This level of activity was identified to normalise blood pressure in test animals thereby leading experts to speculate that a good manipulation of the endocannabinoid system (ECS) can come in handy in offering novel therapeutic approaches to cardiovascular disorders.
2.Inhibition of atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries):
The administration of CBD oil in animal subjects displayed a high level of association in the inhibition of atherosclerosis which hardens the arteries thus leading to hypertension. It was also discovered to lower blood pressure in test subjects and have not been linked with any form of cardiotoxicity in human models.
3.Stress management:
The successful interaction between CBD and the endocannabinoid system can improve the body’s ability in managing stress through the release of feel-good hormones. CBD also has a calming effect on the body while boosting hormonal balance, immunity and brain function. It also plays key roles in the sleep-wake cycle and assists patients with sleep disorder thereby reducing levels of stress, anxiety, and depression.
Conclusion
Although the above-stated benefits may require more research from human subjects, the use of CBD oil in the management and control of high blood pressure is not linked with any adverse side effect. It is safe for use and affordable.

Can CBD Oil Treat Epilepsy
Epilepsy is a complex disorder that is difficult to treat. Conventional medication when used to treat the disorder often has side-effects that in some ways defeat the objective of the drug.
Synthetic Cannabinoids
Scientists have been able to synthesise thousands of natural molecules and cannabinoids are no exception. While molecularly similar, synthetic cannabinoids are far inferior to consuming the real plant and its natural extracts. Synthetic cannabinoids were originally created for cannabinoid research focusing on tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
